Urgent! – Trimble Access 2021.21 is Now Available
Survey Solutions Group received reports of a few cases of a very serious issue in the last release of Trimble Access (Access 2021.20) when running on TSC5 or TDC600 Controllers which could result in the loss of data at the end of a Job file. This issue was quickly recognised by Trimble and has been resolved in Trimble Access 2021.21 which is available now via Trimble Installation Manager.
We strongly recommend that all TSC5 and TDC600 users upgrade as soon as possible.
BeiDou in VRS
Many customers have queried why BeiDou satellites are often not being used in VRS solutions when their Trimble receivers are capable of tracking them. The reason for this is that the BeiDou constellation is being upgraded to third generation satellites. Trimble wish to complete rigorous testing of these new generation satellites, especially as there are multiple manufacturer’s GNSS receivers in OSNet, before they make that data available. These satellites are, of course, available when using a Trimble base station.
